NetSuite Scripted Records Privacy Policy

NetSuite Scripted Records is a Chrome extension that lists, in a side panel, every script and workflow deployed on the NetSuite record you are viewing.
Data collection
None. The extension does not collect, store remotely, or transmit any data. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no remote code, and no server of its own.
How your data is handled
- The extension runs only when you open its side panel (by clicking its icon), and its probe runs only on NetSuite pages.
- The only network requests the extension makes are to the NetSuite origin you are already viewing: it asks NetSuite's own client query APIs for the scripts and workflows attached to the open record and, when you preview a script file, fetches that file's source. Everything uses your existing NetSuite session, so your role's permissions apply automatically, and no request leaves NetSuite.
- The only things stored are UI preferences (which panel sections you keep collapsed), kept locally in your browser via Chrome's extension storage, and the list of tabs where the panel is open, kept in session storage that Chrome clears when you close the browser. Record data is never stored. Removing the extension deletes everything.
- Exports (Markdown, JSON, or CSV) and copied text go to your device's files or clipboard and nowhere else.
Permissions
The extension requests the minimum permissions needed: activeTab and
scripting to inject its probe into the NetSuite tab when you invoke it, host
access to *.netsuite.com so the panel can refresh itself as you navigate between
records (the probe still only ever runs on NetSuite pages), sidePanel for the
panel itself, and storage for the local UI preferences described above.
